When

On the second Tuesday in the month, commencing with the Installation of the New Master in September followed by regular meetings in November, December, January, February, March & April.

In common with all Masonic Lodges, Portcullis Lodge is a private organisation admitting only members and their Masonic Guests. Visiting Masons, recognised by the United Grand Lodge of England are always welcome. (Take a look also at the Berkshire Provincial Grand Lodge, Web Site)

Freemasonry is an organisation that men join because they trust those who are already members and believe in the same principles. Everybody joins, having no knowledge of the details of the meetings but aware that all of the members have met the same criteria and have gone through similar ceremonies.

Portcullis Lodge is a friendly Lodge that prides itself on the welcome and support it offers new members.

Membership is open to men of all faiths, who are law-abiding, of good character and who acknowledge belief in a God. It is a multi-racial and multi-cultural organisation It is neither a religion nor a secret society. It has no political agenda and it is involved with charitable works.  Politics and religion are never discussed at Lodges.

How

It is your decision to join a fraternal and charitable organisation. Will you fit in and do you want to associate with people who believe in standards? In joining, you will be making a degree of commitment to attend meetings and to learn the ritual, are you willing to do so? You probably know what Freemasonry stands for and your decision to apply for membership must be based on that. If the answer is yes, then it probably is for you.

Take a look at the United Grand Lodge of England Web Site then if you have any questions either contact the Secretary or  a Mason you know to be a member of this Lodge. The initiative should come from you.
