 Portcullis Lodge Welcomes You

We are  pleased that you have discovered our web page and hope you find the information you seek. Our members are mainly from the greater Wallingford and Didcot area of South Oxfordshire.  Our Lodge meets under the auspices of the Provincial Grand lodge of Berkshire

We are always delighted to welcome Masons in good standing to our meetings and would be happy to discuss Freemasonry with prospective members.

Our Lodge supports the Berkshire 2023 Festival which raises funds for many charitable needs.  Our current status is Silver with over £18000 donated through November 2020.

For Lodge program schedule look under the About Portcullis header.

OUR LODGE HAS DONATED OVER 22,000 TO THE BERKSHIRE FESTIVAL IN SUPPORT OF THE MASONIC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION.  WE ACHIEVED SILVER STATUS AND ARE HOPEFUL TO REACH GOLD.

THE MASONIC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION HAS NAMED OUR LODGE AS A VICE PATRON IN VIEW OF THE GENEROUS CHARITABLE DONATIONS WE HAVE MADE.

OUR LODGE RECEIVED THE SILVER STATUS AWARD FOR DONATIONS TO THE MCF.  PAGM VW BROTHER PETER SANDS MADE THE PRESENTATION AT OUR FEBRUARY MEETING.  WELL DONE, BROTHERS!

In this web site we'll explain something about Freemasonry and Freemasons in general and about our Lodge in particular. You'll see where we meet as Freemasons, the dates and times of our meetings, a little of our history and some recommended masonic reading.
